We got there in the end. Welcome to the show! In this episode, Dan and I demonstrate what happens when you use common effects pedal types – boost, overdrive, modulation, delay/reverb – into the clean and dirty channels of your guitar amplifier. We also touch on the effects loop section of your amp and why you may or may not want to use that. Now, clearly there’s quite a bit of latitude in what we might call ‘overdrive’. In this case we’re using a mid-gained overdrive texture for our 'dirty' channel. The more gained you go, the more marked difference
