Jimmy Halfcut is the founder of Halfcut.org, a conservation charity dedicated to preserving rainforests - half of which have already been lost. Jimmy’s a handsome fella, with a luscious Ned Kelly beard that he has shaved vertically down the middle. Goes without saying that it’s a striking look, but as he says, vanity is a small price to pay in exchange for engaging somebody about the state of the natural world around them. I wholeheartedly agree! By halfcutting his beard, Jimmy is producing the chance for people to contribute towards rainforest conservation, which is a frighteningly urgent need. Especially when it only costs $2.50 to protect an ENTIRE ACRE. Can you believe that?! One coffee in the morning is somehow equivalent to 2 acres of ancient, priceless biodiversity. Insane.
