It just doesn’t get much better than this. Marcus Eaton, who David Crosby said is, “… a really brilliant writer. Brilliant musically. Brilliant lyrically. And he just plays guitar like God on a good day." Having borne witness, I say, Amen. Marcus, who composed the score of the recently released, critically acclaimed doc, David Crosby: Remember My Name, and has recorded, toured and written with David, as well as opened for Dylan - that would be Bob, Dave Mathews, Jewel, Train, played with Seal and Flea to name but some––is gifted beyond my description. After seeing him at a stupendous Jeff Young gig, and now hearing and watching him play quite a bit here, he’s quickly become one of my favorite guitarists. The rest of the package, singer/songwriter/artist/human/fashionista is right up there with it. And, he makes one fine cup of joe. Thus, my… frenetic exuberance. Yes, let’s blame that.
