Preventing “home grown” terrorism starts with understanding why and how young people all over the world are becoming radicalized, recruited, and convinced that the best way to a meaningful life is through violence. Terrorism expert Alice LoCicero has spent years researching this phenomenon, spending time with survivors of horrific terrorist attacks providing comfort and guidance, and getting inside the minds of these radicals. She talked about the importance of good parenting, but also that it takes a village to raise a child.
