There are often unpleasant or uncomfortable realities that as people we'd like to pretend don't exist or have any such impact on our lives, but as followers of Christ and fellow human beings shouldn't we have something to say about such injustices happening all around us? Don't we have a redemptive role to play in all of this? As Karen draws our gaze to the harsh reality of human slavery, she begs us with this same question.
