The panel "Violence and Justice: The Missing Piece in Our Anti-Poverty Agenda," was part of HDS's bicentennial celebration on April 28, 2017. The panel was moderated by Jeffrey D. Sachs, world-renowned professor of economics, leader in sustainable development, senior UN advisor, bestselling author, and syndicated columnist. The panelists were Gary Haugen, CEO of the International Justice Mission and author, Danielle Allen, James Bryant Conant University Professor and director, Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University, and Sheryl WuDunn, co-author of "A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity" and "Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide."
