The Covenant that God made with Israel through Moses came with great but conditional promises in a tremendous display of God's glory. Many seek the glory of the Old Covenant because they do not understand that the glory of the New Covenant is far greater than the glory of the old. Because so many freely mix the old and the new together, the meaning of God's glory and what brings Him glory have been based on what we can do for God rather than what God has done for us in Christ. The New Covenant is all about living in what Jesus has done.
