Early Edition With Joe Mathieu

Good Friday morning from Joe Mathieu and our WGBH Morning Edition crew. Buckle in, today mark’s the first day of the predicted ‘surge’ of covid-19 virus cases in the Bay State, and based on yesterday’s latest numbers, that certainly looks like it may be coming to pass. It’s Easter weekend, but many of us will be trying to find new ways to celebrate and see our families from a distance. One way sidewalks are becoming a reality around Boston and the North Shore, and Salem, MA residents will now have to wear a mask any time they step foot out of their homes. It’s the weekend even though it doesn’t feel like it, get outside safely in the nice weather, and thanks for joining us on WGBH Radio.
