A George Romero classic claws its way from the grave for a re-telling of a very familiar tale. Syfy’s new series, ‘Day of the Dead’ has finally arrived. This time the dead has arisen in the same town of Mawinhakin. The day started out promising enough for many of the townspeople. Sarah Blackwood is minding her business at her new job when she finds herself lowered into a hole. Of course, she finds a not quite dead body. Mayor Bowman is up for re-election and she’s feeling confident. Jai’s maybe getting married and definitely taking control of his life.
