Welcome back to Dreadful Thoughts the fan-run podcast all about Showtime's Penny Dreadful! Welcome to the offseason! If you're new to the show, normally we'd be discussing the latest episode, but since the season is over we don't have a new episode to talk about.  Instead we've started an offseason bookclub to talk about some of the source material.  This week we finish the second of our book club series: The Book Club of Dorian Gray, where we'll read and comment on Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray. For this episode we read some juicy action in chapters 14 through 20. At the end of Chapter 13 Dorian peformed a truly dastardly deed and may have lost a bit of his sanity in the process.
