In today's schow we discuss the new guidelines for cervical cancer screening and colposcopy recommendations, that came out in October, 2007. The changes reflect more conservative treatment, aimed at reducing the impact procedures such as colposcopy may have on fertility and pre-term birth, while maintaining effective screening for disease that will not self-clear.
