Historiography!

We study more of the working class family through Roseanne and Dan Conner (not O'Connor's, sorry for the mistake!) How is this family similar to the Flintstones (see the last episode) and how are they different. Why is it important that working class folks got to watch this? I think a big reason is that it helped them feel understood, and helped them know that main stream America knew about their plight and their worries.
