Renowned blind entrepreneur and lecturer Urban Miyares is an accomplished sailor with more than 55 years and 25,000 miles of offshore sailing experience. After returning from Vietnam as a disabled veteran, he helped launch the Challenged America adaptive sailing program in San Diego, California in 1978.
