For the 148th instalment of the local selection series, we present a beautifully crafted mix from a really promising up and comer, DJ Ript. DJ RIPT AKA James Ackerman was introduced to the club scene as a youth. Having studied alongside some of Dublin’s finest mentors in electronic music, in Bray Institute Of Further Education, James has been subject to quality dance music for a long time. Born in the UK and raised in the outskirts of Dublin City, DJ RIPT has played in index main room on support duties for DJ Seinfeld, wigwam basement in collaboration with Seclusion X Constellation and Berlin Bar W/ embedded + more.
