Christmas expectations can set us up for disappointment if we didn’t get what we wanted or expected. You may be tempted to stay away from Jesus when he doesn’t give you what you want. It is sometimes difficult to understand why God allows certain things to happen in our life. You may even say, “Lord, if only you had been here …”, but can you say, “but even now”. Do you have the type of faith that has confidence in the Lord, and says; “even now …” Sometimes when we don’t get what we want, God is up to something better than what we had hoped for. Be assured, when you don’t get what you want, God will give you what you need most. In life, when you don’t get what you want, run to Jesus. He will surpass your expectations. When you don’t get what you want, have faith, God still has a big surprise for you to unwrap.
