With a new year, we often make "New Year's Resolutions" as a way of adjusting our patterns and habits from what they were in the past year to something different for the year ahead. The idea of new patterns becomes more exciting after living through the disorienting times of the past year or two, or maybe a stormy holiday season. As we anticipate the year ahead, let's gather and start the year right - with our hearts resolutely facing toward Jesus, making it our pattern to trust in Him as we weather the storms of life.
