In this episode, I am excited to bring on Dr. Anna Lembke, one of the leading researchers and scientists on addiction on planet earth. She is a professor of psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine and Chief of the Stanford Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic. She specializes in helping and treating people with addiction.  Many of us have battled addictions since we were young. I know that I have, and you've heard me talk about that before. I got high for the first time when I was 12 and drunk when I was 13, and by the time that I was 15 years old, I was expelled from school for selling drugs and have battled other addictions in my life; money, sex, workaholism, you name it, right? I think that holds true for, unfortunately, more people than I think even, I would care to admit, especially those of us who are trauma survivors and the truth that I know about the reality of our lives, is that on the backside of stepping through doing the work healing, ultimately changing the narrative shift
