Point: Baptism in Jesus Christ is the sign of a new beginning for everyone who has made Him Lord of their life. Scripture: Luke 3:21-38 Questions: Comprehension: What does the passage say? What are the facts? What does it tell us about God? Interpretation: What does the passage mean? Why did the events happen the way they happened? Application: How can I apply what I’ve learned to my life? What about me needs to become more like God? 1. Vs. 23-38 - Jesus is Greater Comprehension: Why is the genealogy of Jesus so important? Explain. Interpretation: How is Jesus greater than Adam? Noah? Abraham? Boaz? David? Explain. Application: How does knowing Jesus is greater than those who came before and after Him give you hope in God? Explain your answer. 2. Vs. 21-22 - Baptism is a New Beginning Comprehension: Was Jesus’ baptism the beginning or the end of His public ministry? Why did Jesus need to be baptized? What does Jesus’ baptism reveal about who He is? Explain your answer. Interpretation: Why i
