The Promethean Project’s 3rdmeeting of Stigma Is Curable is focused on the stigma related to addiction & recovery. We are honored to host our Guest Speaker, James Garnes. James Garnes was born and raised in Springfield, MA. The son of two public school teachers, and a multi-instrument/band musician, his journey has taken him from UMass Amherst to prison and back again. James has made a point to engage with his community through speaking engagements in local recovery programs, for the Springfield's District Attorney's Drunk and Distracted Driving program, and for podcasts such as the “Healing Broken Hearts”, and “Break The Chains, Find Your Flame”.
