On this episode of the GSMC Baseball Podcast host Tom Dougherty goes over the games from the weekend and gives updates on the division and wild card races, talks AL West and NL Races. The Cardinals and Rockies are the hottest teams in the National League. The Rockies have pushed to within half a game back of the Dbacks and the Cardinals are only a half game back of a Wild Card spot. Both teams have used solid pitching and timely power to fuel their recent runs. The A's were tied with the Astros in first place after beating them on Satuday, a loss on Sunday dropped them back to 1 game behind but they are still hot on their heels.
