On this episode of GSMC Baseball Podcast host Tom Dougherty recaps the games from the middle of the week, talks AL West, Wild Card race, Yankees, and NL West. The AL West has actually gotten interesting as the Astros injuries have opened a door for the A's to possibly sneak through. The Yankees are still 8 back of the Red Sox even after winning 4 straight and still only hold a 4.5 game lead over the A's in the first wild card. A lot can happen with about 40-50 games to go for most teams. In the NL West the Dodgers and Dbacks continue to trade places or remain tied as they are now atop the division.
