This week's Local Selection is from Dublin native and rising DJ and producer Aoise, as we invite her to soundtrack your Wednesday afternoon. The young DJ and producer is a graduate of the Sunil Sharpe, Doug Cooney and DeFeKT school of excellence, having studied DJ techniques and music production at BIFE. There have been many high hitters to come from this course and after hearing Aoise's take on tunes we look forward to what's in store for her. Her sound stems from dark, dubby techno that has developed and matured through the years, taking inspiration from the likes of Ø [Phase], Sterac, Oscar Mulero and Sleeparchive. Having shared lineups with some of Europe's heavy hitters Christoph Faust (FKA Inhalt Der Nacht), Sunil Sharpe, Tommy Holohan and Shampain, we expect to see much more of her in the future. You can catch Aoise supporting Clouds this Friday in Dublin, plus at the Life Festival launch party on April 29th in Mullingar.
