“You are the God who sees me.” This was the first personal name given to God by a person who experienced the Lord’s compassion in her life during a time of great distress (Genesis 16:13). Today Bethany Rivera, The Oaks Director of Discipleship & Small Groups, is preaching on “the God who sees you and knows your needs.” This is “El Roi – The God who Sees: A Story about Hagar.” We all have experienced times of loneliness, fear, doubt, and distress.
