Welcome to our Sunday morning worship service. This morning Pastor Gary Barber is preaching on Jeremiah, chapters 12 and 15, plus 1 Kings 17-19 in a message called "Jeremiah's Complaint & God's Counsel." We are going to see Jeremiah ask God why things are so bad and so hard. And we are going to see God tell him it is all part of His plan for Jeremiah, to train him and get him ready to overcome even harder things yet to come. Then we are going to apply this lesson to own lives. May our response to God be like Jeremiah's! May God's "words become for [us] a joy and the delight of [our] heart; for [we] have been called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts" (Jer. 15:16). We are glad you have joined us today.
