Have you ever been involved in gathering sweet and ready fruit off a vine or a tree? I have found this to be really fun - especially if I get to eat some of the fruit after picking it! Jesus said gathering people for eternal life is like gathering fruit at harvest time. There is wonderful joy and personal rewards from God when we do this. My prayer is that all of us will gain fresh excitement in this new year and start gathering as many people as possible to eternal life by introducing them to Jesus our Lord.
