Nurah Speaks

This Nurah Speaks episode was recorded on the 2018 MLK Day of Service. This day calls for Americans from all walks to work collectively in creating solutions to the most urgent of national problems. In this episode, I reflect on Dr. King’s legacy of social activism and servant leadership. I discuss how modern day activists can emulate his example to increase the effectiveness their leadership in their local communities. Dr. King is one who embodied ‘Being the Movement’ in his quest for freedom and justice in America and it was an honor to be of service to my community in his memory.
