GSMC Baseball Podcast Episode 703: What is Happening to the Homerun?

Informações:

Sinopse

Paddy open's today's show by updating each division's standings. The Pirates are struggling, but not as much as some teams, the Yankees are red hot and the Red Sox are not. Following that Paddy talks about a baseball game that took place between the New York Yankees, Brooklyn Dodgers, and New York Giants. The game was a fundraiser that ended up grossing over 50 million dollars when all was said and done. Then Paddy goes into why MLB has seen its worst month of offensive production ever. The baseball was altered this off-season by Rawlings and baseballs that are hit really hard, no longer travel nearly as far. Could this be a way that MLB is trying for more "well-rounded" hitters in the near future? Paddy then updates the league leaders in the most important categories.
