Church At The Red Door

"This Sunday we will look at the lives of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the book of Daniel. Imagine these three brave men standing before the most powerful man on earth with bold defiance. With one clenched fist they say, “God can rescue us, and we believe He will.” Then the second fist comes up, and they say with equal confidence, “Even if He doesn’t save us, we will not serve your gods.” Essentially, they are saying, “We will trust Him in life, and we will trust Him in death.” That is double-fisted faith! The furnace - that storm in their lives which looked like the end - turned out to be the greatest thing they had ever experienced. It was the place where they met God with hopes to be delivered from the furnace, but God decided to deliver them in the furnace.
