Metamorphic Recordings has established itself as a household name in the worlds of discriminating house and low-end oriented techno, and the label’s 39th release is proof that they aren’t slowing down. ZOiD, a Dublin-based electronic and jazz musician, is the artist of choice here, exhibiting his genre-bending style with two sleek and imaginative pieces that serve as the narrative for the ‘Dexaphonic EP.’ The originals are in good company, as game pioneer John Tejada contributes a remix on the A side, while label founder Dan Curtin contributes a remix on the B side.
