Sperm Donation World

Johanna, from Gothenburg, in Sweden first featured in episode 14, back in early 2019. She had her choice of matching with any known donor in the world and ultimately picked a donor from Perth, Western Australia. What started off as an optimistic yet hopeful story ended up having so many twists and turns that many others would have perhaps given up, this is a tale of all good things that come to those who wait. We recap over all the past events and curve balls she was delivered along the way, such as failed IVF rounds in various countries (Denmark, Sweden, Russia), then finding out she had Turner’s syndrome and therefore needed an egg donor. In May 2022 her baby boy and my most recent donor child finally arrived and were well worth the wait.
