A dramatic recreation of the exact time and date that pompeii was in a world of trouble by mount Vesuvius, which was in close proximity to the city. Pompeians did not know nor understand what a volcano was. When they felt the ground tremble years months and weeks before it blew, they believed it was the Gods displeased. Pompeii was destroyed because of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius on August 24, 79 CE.
