Enjoyed the @ypthrive impact talk. I had several takeaways from the panelists and the conversations. Most questions did not have a one size fits all solution. Everyone is unique so the journey is unique. A quick summary is below. 1. Personal development. The best investment we can make is in ourselves. Everyone had a different way about doing this. My learning has evolved over the years as a lot of my development comes from every day life. I still lean into reading and course work. We spoke about reading and the importance of ideas and perspectives. Leaders take advantage of coaching, courses, and communities to grow. My favorite book is definitely Shoe Dog. 2. Mentorship. We talked about finding mentors and also getting to a point where confident to share what we know. We discussed becoming the mentor.
