Guilford County Legislature Town Hall #VoterID is needed in #NorthCarolina .@NCGOP .@GuilfordGOP .@greensboro On Nov 6th, 2018 there were many constitutional amendments that WE THE PEOPLE voted on including the Amendment to Require Voters to Provide Photo Identification Before Voting in Person. In my opinion, this was the SINGLE most important amendment that North Carolina citizens voted on. The election results showed that a majority of North Carolina Citizens voted FOR Voter ID In my opinion, requiring voters to prove their identity by showing a photo ID when voting is simply a measure to ensure that people aren’t misrepresenting themselves when voting. Sadly there is the continuing argument over if Voter ID is needed for security vs the opponents who claim voter suppression, and the myth of racism as related to voting. There are over 30 states that have photo ID laws. Please help me understand how a photo ID is racist? Do opponents of this law want me to think that people of color aren’t smart enough to ge
