We must not make it increasingly challenging for those around to recognize us as true followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul warns Christians of the great danger (Eph.4:17-25) in not protecting ourselves from the ungodly influences around us. If we disregard this stern warning, we can find ourselves thinking and acting in ways that are in contrast and diametrically opposed to the Word of God that once directed our lives. The result is a life of thinking, reasoning, and acting that serves to camouflage who we are, who God is, and the timeless truth of God's word. This is not only a great detriment to us, but to those around us who are in desperate need of the saving and liberating work of the Savior - Jesus Christ.
