Phil is one of the most easily recognizable professional sailors from Southern California. Originally born in Brisbane Australia and with a background in rugby union, his power and 6’7” frame puts him head and shoulders above the competition. Toth's many years of international Olympic class competition have honed his helming and tactical skills. He worked closely with teammates in both the Star and Finn class to reach the top of the fleet. Phil has tens of thousands of miles at sea, and spends 280+ days on the water each year. His years of working as a sailmaker and rigger have given him the full set of skills needed to help any boat achieve the best performance possible.
