Barbara Harris Whitfield, is a respiratory therapist and counselor in private practice in Atlanta Georgia with Her husband Charles Whitfield, MD helping people with individual and group psychotherapy for PTSD and other trauma related problems. They also help patients get off psych drugs and opiates. She is the author and co-author of 12 books on near-death experiences (NDEs), the after effects of spiritually transformative experiences, the emotional needs of critical care patients, and medical marijuana.
