Prayer is essential for every believer. It is how we build our relationship with the Lord. In Luke 11, when Jesus had finished praying, one of His disciples came to Him saying, "Lord, teach us how to pray!" All my life I have been seeking to understand the power of prayer, and especially, prayer that gets an answer. When I was in prison for Bible smuggling in 1972, I reached a point of such desperation that I cried out, "Lord, teach me how to pray my way out of prison!"
