Phoenix Media Podcast

It’s our sixth and final episode of Women Behind the Media the podcast, and we thought it would be a nice send off with an episode with just us three, Claire, Betty, and Mikaylah. We discuss everything we have learnt throughout the year from our roles in the project, our goals and the best advice that has stuck with us from our guests. We would like to thank the University of Southern Queensland, Justine Hansberry, and our amazing supervisor Dr Ashley Jones for their contribution to the show all year. We would like to thank our five amazing guests; Kelly Higgins-Devine, Kelley Abbey, Sue Manger, Sharyn Ghidella and Ebony Abblitt for taking the time to speak with us and share your stories. Lastly we would also like to thank all the women who came before us in this industry, we have learnt so much and will continue to learn about your careers in the world of media. Although it is sad that this series has come to an end, we have enjoyed this journey and hope the discussion about women in the media continues.
