"Ask, Seek, Knock" goes through Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 7:7-11, where Jesus teaches us about how we can take our needs and concerns to God in prayer. We can ask, seek, and knock, while trusting that God is good, that God loves us, and that God desires to care for us.

"Judgment Call" goes through Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 7:1-6, where Jesus teaches us how we can be both loving and non-judgmental, while also making wise judgments and helping others.

"Free as a Bird" goes through Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 6:25-34, where Jesus teaches us about focusing on God's Kingdom and righteousness, while not worrying or being anxious about the little things in life.

"Lasting Treasure" goes through Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 6:16-24, where Jesus teaches us about priorities - about being authentic, having the right values, and choosing wisely how we live our lives. Jesus calls us to simplify our lifestyle and to focus on the Kingdom: to prioritize authenticity, love, mercy and grace, and radical generosity.

"Honest Prayer" goes through Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 6:1-15. This message focusses on how Jesus taught us to pray - often referred to as the Lord's Prayer.

"Love Like Jesus" goes through Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 5:38-48. This message goes over Jesus’ understanding of justice, revenge, and enemy love. Loving like Jesus requires us to use our holy imaginations, and to live prayerfully in such a way that we’re able to act and react in ways that reflect the love of Christ.

"Broken Hearts and Broken Promises" goes through Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 5:27-37. This message goes over Jesus' teaching in regards to desire, divorce, and deceit. Jesus deepens the Old Testament commandments by interpreting them to include what occurs “in the heart” - to include what goes on inside of us, before the external act of sin.

"Be Reconciled" goes through Jesus' teachings from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 5:17-26, with an emphasis on Matthew 5:21-26. Jesus calls us - as his followers - to be a community of active love, fellowship, and reconciliation.

"Being Salty and Bright" goes through Jesus' teachings from the Sermon on the Mount as found in Matthew 5:13-16. Being the salt of the earth and the light of the world means that we are to actively love God and love our neighbors.

This is the first message from our series "Sermon on the Mount," which goes through some of Jesus' teachings as found in Matthew chapters 5-7. "Kingdom Blessings" goes through the first part of Jesus' teachings from the Sermon on the Mount, which is often referred to as the Beatitudes.
