I can’t seem to express it enough, we are IN CHARGE of our health and wellness BUT we have all been brought up with the wrong ideals and stats around what it means to “EAT RIGHT”. I fly through a lot of these points, hopefully I keep your attention. And if for some reason, you happen to be one of the 2% that actually vibes with the content and thoughts, there’s a ton of links below to continue your learnings :) Eating right saved my life, has reversed many diseases and discomforts my friends and family were struggling with, and as if living longer and healthier wasn’t good enough, you actually feel amazing for being such a positive contributor to the planet. By adjusting your diet, most people can eliminate half of their carbon and green house gas emissions footprint.. By eating vegan you’re also saving an innumerable amount of water, an ungodly amount of grains, a ridonkulous amount of forested land, and quite a few animals lives. bit.ly/2JnYSlL

  • DWYC 003 - GOING OVER MY UBER REVIEWS & SHARING STORIES

    I’m sure I’ll be able to dive deeper into my experience driving in the future, but here’s a few reflection points based off my 3 years on the Lyft and Uber platforms. I’m a 4.97 star driver with almost 2,000 rides on Lyft, and a 4.93 star driver with 4,400 trips on Uber. I’ve seen and heard it all. Feces from animals, puke from partiers, moans from people hooking up, etc. There’s hilarious stories and many strange ones, and thank goodness I’ve only ever had to kick out one group of two before.. I think having a side hussle, a type of on-demand gig opportunity you can pursue and do is just a smart idea. You can control your hours, you get experience, you have flexibility, and you meet neat peeps. This piece goes around my thoughts as I share some of the stories and reviews riders have left me with.   • DWYC 002 - OPINIONS ARE THE WORLDS CHEAPEST COMMODITY

    I was trying to put my finger on the real pulse of this talk. It seems like the type of person this would do well with reaching and resonating with would be someone still in a pretty developmental stage of their life. Old enough to have been through “the ringer” for a moment or so, but not old enough to be cemented in to phony logic or damaging thinking patterns. It’s normal to want to be accepted, but then again - normal is also overweight, normal is also brokeAF, normal is having unstable emotions and reacting to things… I think normal can be learned, in example, it’s now normal for me to stay calm, to not worry, to not lose my temper with someone. I think new normals can be learned, just like anything. Build it in to a habit after being so obsessed with getting the result, encouraging the change, creating a new level of operation.   • DWYC 001 - Do What You Can & How to overcome frustration.

    All you can do is all you can do, and all you can do is enough. Through a recent realization that I could end a lower level of frustration I had, simply by putting out tiny pieces of content instead of dedicating much more time to many long projects - I decided to start this series. I'll have a different topic for each upload. I'll aim to upload once a day for a week. Will see what should be my next step with this after then, and will either continue making DWYC episodes, or I will update you with the 'why not' findings. The bullet points of this video: Your beliefs determine your thinking, your thinking determines your actions, your actions determine results. And so for better results, change your beliefs to change your thinking.. For a quick fix, frame better questions to yourself (because this will also change your thinking).
