Today we look at a passage coming very early in the OT that describes how God initiated a profound plan through which He intends to impact all people around the world.

Throughout this year we have focused on the reality that Christianity is about living in a real relationship WITH God that touches every part of our lives. Today we'll look at a well-known story where Jesus calls Zacchaeus out of a tree and pays him a life-changing visit.

Today we will look at one of the final recorded prayers that Jesus prayed before going to the cross (John 17). This prayer reveals to us the importance of living as a spiritual family as we walk with Jesus.

Today we'll look at a story Jesus told about two people praying in the temple (Luke 18:9-14). He told this story to confront the pride of those who thought they were better than others based on the way they kept the right rules.

Today, we'll look at Jesus' response to those who wanted to find a sense of meaning and security in a messed up world by keeping God "on their side" through their good deeds.

This morning we will focus on the theme of our Young Adults "Converge" events: Your Kingdom Come

Throughout this year, we have focused on the reality that Christianity is about living in a real relationship WITH God that touches every part of our lives. Today we will explore the well-known sorry where Jesus feeds a huge multitude with five small loaves and two little fish. This story speaks to the places in our lives where we feel inadequate to follow Jesus. We may feel totally incapable to either go deeper with God or to exert any significant influence for Him to our families, our workplaces or wherever we find ourselves. Jesus challenges us to move from paralyzing inadequacy to faithful anticipation.

Shame is a common issue in many lives. Where guilt is related to specific actions, shame is a deeper feeling of humiliation that says "I am wrong". This often causes us to hide and isolate ourselves. Today we'll see how the love of Jesus addresses us in our shame.

Welcome to Mckernan Baptist Church! We are glad you have joined us! As we continue our focus on what it means to walk with Jesus, today we will look at a fairly well-known story in whichJesus calms a storm that brought life threatening chaos to everyone who was in the boat with Him.

Pastor Dave brings us a message about how each follower of Jesus, regardless of age, is a vital part of His body, the church.

Throughout the year we have focused on the reality of Christ with us in a real way. Today we celebrate Easter and the reality of how this day makes this relationship possible!

In the month leading up to Easter, the church leadership is inviting us to focus together on "28 Days of Prayer" as a way of inviting God's wisdom and direction for us as a church community. This week we want to focus our thoughts on listening to the Lord's voice. On the night before Jesus went to the cross, He spoke to His decibels about what was going to happen after He physically left them (vs. 19-20). While this would seem to be the end of them experiencing His presence and hearing His voice, He assured them that this was no the case.

Today we will have the opportunity to briefly explore four pathways that Jesus invites people to follow him as they embrace the Good News He offers.

As a church, we are exploring what it means to walk "with" God. The kind of relationship envisioned by this moves beyond ritual to an experience of prayer that touches on the very real and practical areas of our lives. Truly, walking with God involves talking with God.

As we continue our focus on what it means to live in relationship "with" God, today we begin a series of sermons exploring this theme through the lens of the life of Jesus. Our first stop opens on a simple scene where we see parents bring their little children to Jesus that He might bless them. When HIs disciple confront the crowd for "wasting" Jesus' time this way. He counters by pointing to the little children as a "living parable" demonstrating the kind of qualities necessary for a growing experience of life with God.
