02/12/2018On this first Sunday of Advent, we focus on the love of Christ displayed in His coming to earth. As Jesus' love caused Him to move outward, today we'll see how His early followers followed His examples (Acts 7:54-8:40) and also moved outward in expressing and extending His love.

The Deep and Wide Heart of God
25/11/2018This year we are journeying through the book of Acts, focusing on how God desires to take His people deeper and wider in our walk with Him. Today we come to a long speech by Stephen (Acts 7:1-53) in which he responded to the challenge of a hard-hearted religious group who charged that his teaching about Jesus was attacking the Temple and the Law. He answered with a historical survey of Jewish history that showed how Jesus fulfils the role of the temple (Acts 7:1-50) and the role of the law (Acts 7:35-53).
