Washington Nationals' right-hander Jordan Zimmermann threw seven scoreless innings in the nation's capital and the Nats' offense connected for 14 hits and 11 runs in an 11-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Philadelphia Phillies' starter Roberto Hernandez dominated the Washington Nationals for the second time this season in a 2-1 win that gave the Phillies two straight in the nation's capital in spite of strong start by Doug Fister. 

Neither starter lasted long as Cliff Lee injured his left elbow and Gio Gonzalez was ineffective and the Philadelphia Phillies took an early lead and piled on for a 10-4 win over the Washington Nationals.

The Miami Marlins threatened in the ninth, but the Washington Nationals held on for a 4-3 sweep-avoiding win in the series finale in Marlins Park. Tanner Roark was strong again on the mound (W, 11-6). 

The Washington Nationals threatened early but came up empty against Miami Marlins' starter Henderson Alvarez and a strong start by Stephen Strasburg was wasted in a 3-0 loss to the Fish. 

The Washington Nationals let a 6-0 lead slip away as the Miami Marlins rallied late and won it in the ninth on a walk-off single to left by bench bat Jeff Baker. 7-6 final in Marlins Park. 

The Washington Nationals beat the Cincinnati Reds 4-2 this afternoon in Great American Ball Park to take 2 of 3 in the weekend series behind a strong start by right-hander Doug Fister.

Washington Nationals' right-hander Tanner Roark gave up just one run in seven innings of work in Great American Ballpark as the Nats beat the Cincinnati Reds, 4-1 in the series opener in Ohio. 

The Washington Nationals rallied late but came up short in the series finale with the Colorado Rockies in Coors Field. 6-4 Rockies final as they avoided the series and season sweep.

The Washington Nationals knocked Milwaukee Brewers' starter Matt Garza out in the first and cruised to an 8-3 win in the nation's capital tonight with Tanner Roark on the mound in Nats Park.

The Milwaukee Brewers put four runs up on Washington Nationals' right-hander Stephen Strasburg and cruised to a 4-2 win in the first game of the so-called "second-half" of the 2014 campaign. 

The Washington Nationals jumped out to a 3-0 lead on Jayson Werth's first inning home run and cruised to a 10-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies in the series and first-half finale in Citizens Bank Park. 

The Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies were tied at 3-3 after nine and the Nats finally came through with a runner in scoring position in the tenth when Ryan Zimmerman drove in the winning run. 5-3 final in Citizens Bank Park.

The Washington Nationals dropped a 6-2 decision to the Philadelphia Phillies tonight in Citizens Bank Park, but the big story of the night was that Nats' right-hander Jordan Zimmermann left the outing with what the Nationals say is a right bicep cramp.

The Washington Nationals battled back from a 4-0 deficit to get within one run of the Baltimore Orioles, but they lost the second game of two in Oriole Park at Camden Yards, 4-3 final.

The Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles were tied at 2-2 after ten, but O's slugger Chris Davis broke the tie with the two-run home run in the eleventh and the O's poured it on for an 8-2 win.
