Gio Gonzalez struggled with his command early, and gave up a big home run late, giving up four of the seven runs the Nats surrendered as the Nationals' six-game winning streak came to an end with just the second shutout loss of the season for the NL East division leaders.

Nats Nightly: Nationals 14-4 over Reds for third straight in GABP...
16/07/2017 Duração: 19minThe Washington Nationals took their third straight from the Cincinnati Reds and their fourth straight overall in a 14-4 win in Great American Ball Park. Daniel Murphy homered twice in the win and the Nationals hit five home runs total, knocking Homer Bailey out early and cruising to another win. Tanner Roark put together a solid start, though the defense wasn't great behind him, but there was plenty of offense to make up for that. Series finale in GABP tomorrow afternoon at 12:35 PM EDT.

A big seven-run seventh busted things open in the second game of four in GABP and the Nationals improved to 54-36 on the season with their second straight win over the Reds. 15/07/2017 Duração: 21minBryce Harper provided the power and Gio Gonzalez shut the Cincinnati Reds out over 8 1⁄3 IP in what ended up a 5-0 win for the Washington Nationals in the series and second-half opener in Great American Ball Park. Gonzalez allowed just four hits and got 13 ground ball outs from Reds' hitters in an impressive performance, and Harper hit his 21st and 22 home runs of the season to get off to a good start out of the All-Star Break. Nationals now 53-36.

Nats Nightly: Nationals survive, take 2 of 3 from A's in Oakland with 11-10 win
04/06/2017 Duração: 17minRyan Zimmerman broke up a 3-3 tie with a three-run home run in the eighth. #TKCHZ! Tanner Roark gave up four runs in 7 2/3 innings of work in Oakland as the Washington Nationals took 2 of 3 from the A's and improved to 5-1 six games into their nine-game, three-city road trip, which continues in LA tomorrow night. Koda Glover finished off the eighth when Roark ran into trouble and Matt Wieters and Michael A. Taylor homered in the ninth, 11-10 final. Nationals now 35-20.

Nats Nightly: Nationals' 4-game win streak ends with 10-4 loss to A's in Oakland
04/06/2017 Duração: 19minJoe Ross struggled again and the Washington Nationals had their four-game win streak come to an end in a 10-4 loss to the A’s in Oakland this afternoon. Ross went just three innings in his third start back in the rotation after a stint in Triple-A. Jacob Turner did the yeoman's work, but got knocked around in his third inning on the mound as the Athletics ran away with this one and set up a rubber match tomorrow in Oakland Coliseum. Nationals now 34-20.

01/06/2017 Duração: 16minMax Scherzer reached 100 Ks on the season on his 100th pitch of the night on Wednesday night as the Nationals swept the San Francisco Giants with a 3-1 win in AT&T Park. Scherzer went the distance for his first complete game of the season and the seventh of his career and the Nationals took all three from the Giants to cap off a series that started with the face of the Nats' franchise getting plunked by a Giants' reliever. 33-19 overall for the Nationals, who get a day off before playing the A's in Oakland on Friday.

31/05/2017 Duração: 17minThere were no purpose pitches or even unintentional HBPs in the Washington Nationals' second game of three with the San Francisco Giants in AT&T Park, instead the Nats beat the Giants, 6-3, to win the series before the finale tomorrow night. Gio Gonzalez put together a solid start and the Nationals' hitters knocked Jeff Samardzija out early and cruised to a relatively drama-free victory. Max Scherzer is up next in the third of three with the Giants. Nationals now 32-19.

25/05/2017 Duração: 17minWashington's Nationals took 2 of 3 from the Seattle Mariners in D.C, but dropped the series finale and had their three-game winning streak snapped in a 4-2 loss. Gio Gonzalez put together a solid start, but exited early and Jacob Turner gave up a big three-run HR by Nelson Cruz that lifted the Mariners from a 2-0 deficit and Robinson Cano drove in a run to provide some insurance in what ended up a two-run win. Nationals now 28-18. Up next, three with San Diego starting tomorrow night.
