The Blues visited the new Little Caesers Arena in Detroit for a matchup against the Red Wings. The Blues would take a lead in the first on a goal by Jaden Schwartz. Later in the game Schwartz would suffer an ankle injury from a hard shot from the blue line .Schwartz left the game and the Blues announced he would miss at least 6 weeks. The blues were upset to see one of their star players leave the ice, but they would not let it get in their way of a big 6-1 win.

Brayden Schenn gets his 14th goal and Jake Allen shuts out the Stars at home. The Blues continue to reap rewards in what has to be one of thew best trades so far in Blues history. Schenn continues to impress while Lehtera is a zero factor with the Flyers.

Brayden Schenn getsf a hat triick and leads the Blues to a hard fought4-3 road win against the Canadians. Montreal came back from a two goal deficit to tie it at three on two second period goals by Shea Weber. However, Schenn got the game winner in the third period.

After a huge loss to the Kings. The Blues came back the next night and played strong against the Wild. Both Dubnyk and Allen played stellar in goal for their respective teams. However, Matt Dumba would score the game winner in overtime for the 2-1 win.

In this episode we honor Ari Dougan and recap the Blues 4-1 loss to the Kings. Ari touched the Blues players, fans, and evereyone in the St. Louis area. She was, and still is, an inspiration to everyone who knew her personally and through her relationship with Vladimir Tarasenko and the rest of the Blues players. The Blues honored her in the pre game ceremony, but could not pull out a win for her agaisnt the Kings.

The Blues special teams play would be the difference in this game. The Ducks would score a goal early in the first period and add 2 power play goals in the second period. Which game them a 3-0 commanding lead. Kyle Brodziak would try to bring the Blues back on his own. He scored two goals in the final minutes of the third period, but it was not enough and the Ducks won 3-2

Mike and I take an in depth look at the Ducks game against the Blues. The Ducks, like the Blues have been hit with a ton of injuries this year. However, unlike the Blues the Ducks have had issues filling in for players such as Ryan Getzlaf, Patrick Eaves, and many more. We discuss the good and bad aspects of social media. Including the recent Ryan Kesler 100th birthday video that was pulled by Ducks public relations shortly after it was posted. Mike and I get to the topic of fightning in hockey and if the role of the enforcer is dead.

The Blues bounced back from a 2-0 loss to the Predators on Friday night. With a 6-3 win over central division rivals the Minnesota Wild. The Blues number one star would be Jaden Schwartz. He led the blues with two goals in the win. Rookie Sammy Blais would also get his first NHL goal on a great pass from Alexander Steen. 

If I were to tell you the Blues played at home last night with Carter Hutton in goal and that he only allowed one goal, you would think the Blues won. Well, that's not what happened. The Predators scored a goal in the first and an empty net goal late in the 3rd for a 2-0 win. The Predators shut the Blues down in the first period. The blues would outplay them in the second and third period, but it did not equate to any goals. 

After the Blues beat the Oilers last Thursday at Rogers Place 4-1. You would naturally expect the Oilers to come out flying on the road against the Blues. That did not happen and the Blues coasted to a 8-3 blow out win. The Oilers would get all three of their goals in the third period. The Blues were lead by their number one line of Tarasenko, Schenn, and Schwartz. Each member of that line would get four points in this big home win for St. Louis.

The Blues finished up their three game road trip in Vancouver on Saturday night. With a win the Blues could head back home winning two of three on this west coast road trip. It would not be an easy task though. The Canucks took advantage of Blues mistakes to take a 3-1 lead midway through the second period. However, the Blues would stat a come back in the second period.. Sobotka would make it 3-2 in the second period while Edmundson would tie the game up early in the third period. We would go to overtime and the Blues defense shut down the Canucks. Which allowed Brayden Schenn to score giving the Blues a 4-3 win.

The Blues wanted to stop their 2 game losing streak with a win over the Oilers. TThey played much better from the drop of the puck. They were tenacious offensively, but it would be the defense that would give them the lead in the first period. Sobotka would catch Oilers goalie Cam Talbot out of the net and capitalize on a mistake to give the Blues a 1-0 lead with a short handed goal. Steen would add the second goal on a power play in the second period. While Brayden Schenn added 2 goals in the 3rd to give the Blues a 4-1 win. Jake Allen would stop 29 out of 30 shots on goal for his 100th NHL win.

The Blues wnated to get off to a fast start in the opener of their 3 game west coast road trip. The Blues and Flames would be in a back in forth battle until late in the 3rd Period. When Blues mistakes would allow the Flames to take control and win 7-4. Vladimir Tarasenko was a bright spot for the Blues with 2 goals in the loss. The Blues will travel to Edmonton for a tilt against the Oilers on Thursday.

The Islanders and coach Doug Weight came to Scottrade Center on Saturday to upset the favored Blues. They would accomplish this goal by being tenatious on the puck and by getting several odd man rushes. The Blues on the other had did not play well in fron of their home town crowd and lost this game 5-2.

The Blues took on the worst team in the league last night in the Arizona Coyotes. With the Blues being the best team in the league it should be a blow out, right? The Blues had all they could handle in this young and fast team. The coyotes would take the Blues to a shoot out. Where Alexander Steen and Brayden Scheen put the puck behind the Coyotes goalie Raanta for a 3-2 win.

The Blues would get great performances by Jake Allen, Brayden Schenn, Jaden Schwartz, and of course, Vladimir Tarasenko. To wrap things up we look ahead to the Blues Vs Coyotes game on 11/09/17 at Scottrade Center.

The Blues faced the young and talented Toronto Maole Leafs on 11/04/17 at Scottrade Center. The Blues would dominate most of the game, but Toronto would not give up and came alive late in  the 3rd period. Their effort was a little to late and the Blues held on for a 6-4 win.  We take a look ahead to the Blues Vs Devils game that will be played on 11/07/17 in New Jersey.

In this episode we discuss the Blues loss to the flyers.  While we also look ahead to the Blues Vs Maple Leafs game tonight 11/04/17 at Scottrade Center. Both of these teams are loaded with young talent and I take an in depth look at the youngsters on each roster.

The Blues were home for their second game of a four game homestand. They would play the Kings. A team who has knocked them out of the playoffs in past Stanley Cup Series. These two teams respect each other, but there is no love lost between the Blues and Kings. The Blues went ahead 2-0 in the second period. The Kings would add a goal to make it 2-1, but Carl Gunnarsson of the Blues made it 3-1 late in the 2nd period. The Kings got the game as close as 3-2, but the Blues added an empty net goal for a 4-2 win.
