    The Blues visited the new Little Caesers Arena in Detroit for a matchup against the Red Wings. The Blues would take a lead in the first on a goal by Jaden Schwartz. Later in the game Schwartz would suffer an ankle injury from a hard shot from the blue line .Schwartz left the game and the Blues announced he would miss at least 6 weeks. The blues were upset to see one of their star players leave the ice, but they would not let it get in their way of a big 6-1 win.

The Predators scored a goal in the first and an empty net goal late in the 3rd for a 2-0 win. The Predators shut the Blues down in the first period. The blues would outplay them in the second and third period, but it did not equate to any goals.

The Blues were lead by their number one line of Tarasenko, Schenn, and Schwartz. Each member of that line would get four points in this big home win for St. Louis.

It would not be an easy task though. The Canucks took advantage of Blues mistakes to take a 3-1 lead midway through the second period. However, the Blues would stat a come back in the second period.. Sobotka would make it 3-2 in the second period while Edmundson would tie the game up early in the third period. We would go to overtime and the Blues defense shut down the Canucks. Which allowed Brayden Schenn to score giving the Blues a 4-3 win.

They were tenacious offensively, but it would be the defense that would give them the lead in the first period. Sobotka would catch Oilers goalie Cam Talbot out of the net and capitalize on a mistake to give the Blues a 1-0 lead with a short handed goal. Steen would add the second goal on a power play in the second period. While Brayden Schenn added 2 goals in the 3rd to give the Blues a 4-1 win. Jake Allen would stop 29 out of 30 shots on goal for his 100th NHL win.

The Kings would add a goal to make it 2-1, but Carl Gunnarsson of the Blues made it 3-1 late in the 2nd period. The Kings got the game as close as 3-2, but the Blues added an empty net goal for a 4-2 win.
