Lance is back and gets right in to discussing Alexander Steen's retirement and his career as a St. louis Blue. He talks Lundqvist, the upcoming partial season, the renegotiations of the CBA, divisional placement, did the Blues really request to be put in the west division, and will they end up there. This and more in our latest episode.

In this episode Lance discusses Roman's WHA, IHL, AHL NHL, and European hockey career. Most people only remember Roman as one of the guys the Blues traded to the L.A Kings to aquire Wayne Gretzky. Lance shows there is more to Roman Vopat then just being known for that famous trade. Roman opens up and talks about his early days in the Czech Republic, his father, and being able to play with his brother Jan when they were both with the Kings. Plus he gives his thoughts on the NHL CBA, 24 team playoff structure, and if fighting still belongs in the NHL. 

Lance dives in to every scenario that the NHL is looking at regarding the completion of the 2019-2020 season and the playoffs.

The Blues defense shines in this 3-1 win over the Lightning. They only allowed 18 shots on goal. While the Blues peppered Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy with 34 shots.

Lance breaks down the 4-1 loss and end the podcast giving his thoughts on the Blues offense, or lack there of. 

Lance opens the podcast with his thoughts on the Don Cherry situation. The Blues have been living on the edge allowing many games to go to overtime this season. They allowed the Blue Jackets to tie the game in the third period at 2-2 on an early goal by Pierre-Luc Dubois. Then in overtime they would give the Blue Jackets a power play opportunity. In which they would capatialize on a goal by Zach Werenski.

The Blues took a 2-1 lead in to the third only to see the Coyotes tie it at 2-2 on a power play goal by Conor Garland. Neither team was able to score in overtime, but Garland won it for the Coyotes in the shootout. The loss snapss the Blues 7 game winning streak. Lance finishes the podcast as always with opinions on the game. 

The Blues took a 2-0 lead in to the third period, but the Flames came back with two goals of their own to sedn it to overtime. The Blues David Perron scored an overtime goal and the Blues won 3-2

The Blues and Oilers battled for most of the game until the blues scored two empty net goals for the win. Jake Allen of the Blues had his best game of the year in the victory. While Oilers goalie Mike Smith kept the Oilers in the game right up until late in the 3rd period.

Before Lance breaks down the Blues odd 2-1 overtime win against the Caucks he discusses the possible contract extension for Alex Pietrangelo. Lance shows how and why the Blues need to be very cautious with their offer to Pietrangelo.

This game would see bad officiating and weird goals but the Blues came back from being down 3-2 in the second period and won 4-3 in overtime.

The Blues fell behind 3-1 in the second period on 3 unanswered Blue Jacket goals. They stormed back in the second to tie it at 3-3 and headed to overtime with the same score. David Perron would get the win for the Blues in overtime with his seventh goal of the season.

Jordan Binnington and Devan Dubnyk were both giving their best for their respective teams. The difference in the game was an early goal in the third period by Alex Pietrangelo of the Blues to notch the 2-1 win for St. Louis.

The Blues arrived in Detroit on Sunday after losing to the bruins 3-0 on Saturday. The Blues took a 3-1 lead out of the second period. However, the Red Wings stormed back in the third period to grab a 4-3 lead on a goal by Tyler Bertuzzi. Ryan O'Reilly would tie the game at 4-4 late in the third period and David Perron won the game for St. Louis with an earlly overtime goal.

The Bruins players and fans came in to this game looking to get revenge for last years Stanley Cup finals loss to the Blues. The Bruins took advantage of an odd man rush and a bad power play goal giving up by Jordan Binnington to beat the Blues 3-0.

The Blues fell behind 2-1 early in the second period, but regained the lead for good at the end of the second period on a goal by Robert Thomas that gave them a 3-2 lead heading in to the third period. Brayden Schenn would notch his 7th and 8th goals of the season in the third to give the Blues a 5-2 win. 

After blowing several two goal leads early in this season the Blues played their strongest game of the season against Colorado. The Avalanche were the hotest team in the NHL coming in to this game. The Blues defensive dominince really showed up in  the second period. As the Blues held Colorado to just one shot on goal.

The Blues looked good in the first period, but things fell apart in the second period. Montreal would score 3 unanswered goals in the second en route to a 5-2 win.
