We're back with singer/songwriter Mia Gjeldum. We speak with Mia about her TWO EP releases this year. We feature her song 'Blue' from her first EP "Beginning Stages" and we feature her song 'Gravity' from her second EP "Young & Fun"

Years Later, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a 5 piece modern alternative rock band creating music with nostalgic elements they love from the late 90s and 2000s. The group set out to hit the ground running by recording their first two singles in early 2020 with producer Seth Henderson (Knuckle Puck, Real Friends, Sleep On It), and will be returning to record an EP in the Fall. We talk with the band about their recent single releases, "Therapy" and "Complacency." We also talk about the impact COVID-19 is still having on the music industry from music venues to bands compiling music and waiting to release.

This week we speak with Dylan and Nevil of GBAD. We feature their songs "Locust" and "Don't Know Why." GBAD is an Atlanta based metal band with a drive to deliver the most energetic product that they can. From crowd-engaging live shows to captivating media, GBAD holds back nothing in their creative process. Formed from the remnants of the long defunct Atlanta post-hardcore band, Gored By A Deer, GBAD aims to keep the raw energy of it’s past roots, with a more mature and refined sound. 

We're back this week with Canadian-born, Florida-raised, Atlanta residing Soul Singer, Ruby Velle who has been the front woman for Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics since 2005. Ruby has performed alongside some legendary musicians such as Corey Glover, Bernard Purdie, Lee Fields, Gary Clark Jr., Fred Wesley, and Binky Griptite. We talk with Ruby about her history with music, the importance of empowerment through music and we discuss our first cassette and vinyl purchases.

American Idol Top 14 (season 17) finalist Eddie Island joins us over Zoom to talk about his experience with American Idol, his music from his album "Industry Standard" and his new album "Folkstar" dropping this year.
