Artist in Residence 2013: Interview mit Humberto Diaz

Für diese Premiere konnten die Kurzfilmtage zusammen mit der Winterthurer Galerie knoerle & baettig contemporary und der Villa Sträuli den kubanischen Künstler Humberto Díaz gewinnen. Humberto Díaz weilt seit Mitte September in Winterthur in der Villa Sträuli, die Galerie knoerle & baettig contemporary im Sulzer-Areal widmet ihm seit dem vierten Oktober eine Ausstellung. Humberto Díaz soll während seinem Aufenthalt in Winterthur Raum und Zeit finden, sich aus dem Alltag zu lösen, über seine Arbeit zu reflektieren und diese weiterzuentwickeln. Die neue Umgebung soll aber auch beiderseits Neugierde wecken und den interkulturellen Austausch fördern. Humberto nimmt während seinem Aufenthalt aktiv am Leben in Winterthur teil und ist als Künstler immer wieder in diverse kulturelle Aktivitäten involviert.
