He developed the first valid scale to measure coincidence sensitivity, and has written several coincidence articles for Psychiatric Annals. The author or editor of 16 professional books, he is a visiting professor at the University of Virginia, attended Yale Medical School and completed a psychiatric residency at Stanford.
