Drug Overdoses In Virginia
23/11/2020After the Washington Post reported on students experiencing racism at the Virginia Military Institute, Governor Ralph Northam ordered an investigation into the culture at VMI. Since then, VMI's superintendent was pressured to resign and its Board of Visitors voted to remove a statue of Confederate Gen. Stonewall Jackson. Virginia State Senator Tommy Norment, a 1968 graduate of VMI, joins us to discuss the situation and his op-ed in The Roanoke Times. Then, we discuss how COVID-19 has affected drug abuse and drug overdoses in the state.
